Chapter 1

Beginning in Japan

Raised in Japan. For fifteen years, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for elderly patients with patience, gentleness, and deep respect. In Japan, we are taught that caring for the elderly is a sacred honor, not just a job. That belief has never left my heart.
Chapter 2

Continuing My Calling in the United States

When I came to America, I did not stop caring. I have worked in assisted living facilities and in hospice care, holding the hands of those at the end of their life’s journey. I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and have completed nursing assistant training. Every patient I have served has taught me something new about love, patience, and strength.

Faith Baptist Church Is My Family

I have been a member of Faith Baptist Church since 2021. This church welcomed me and my children when we were new to America. The elderly members here remind me of my own grandparents back in Japan. I want to give back to this church by caring for its seniors – the same way I would want someone to care for my own family.

A Mother’s Love – Why I Do This Work

I am a mother. My children are my greatest gift and my greatest motivation. Every day, I work hard so they can have a better future. When I care for your mother or father, I treat them as I would want someone to treat my own parents. I do not see clients – I see family.
